WesMar Farms is a small family farm in rural Central Louisiana.
We have made every effort to manage our farm in a manner that works with the environment and natural resources. We raise our Nubian Dairy Goats with a natural approach to animal husbandry. Our herds are raised in a non-confined environment and allowed to graze in our pastures.
Along with the sweet farm fresh milk our goats provide, we also have developed an excellent fresh Chévre and a creamy mildly aged Fêta cheese. Many people who are lactose intolerant find that they do well with goats milk.
Another product we make here on our farm is a handcrafted goat milk soap.
Our customers have told us how our soap is a great skin care product and that it does not leave their skin feeling dry and itchy like commercial soap would.
We are proud that our products have been certified as Louisiana Products by the Louisiana Department of Agriculture.
We maintain the standards of humane care and treatment of animals set by the National Animal Welfare Act and have been certified and licensed under this program.
